• Native Bengali and long-time practitioner and teacher within ISKCON.
• Came in touch with the followers of Srila Prabhupada in early childhood and began attending Bhagavad-gita classes at the age of thirteen.
• Received initiation from HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj at the age of seventeen.
• At nineteen, joined the brahmacari training program at ISKCON Pune, aspiring to dedicate his life to the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
• Studied Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Caitanya Caritamrita for two years at Bhaktivedanta Vidyapitha, Govardhan Eco Village, Maharashtra.
• Received the degrees of Bhakti-sastri, Bhakti-vaibhava, and Bhakti-vedanta.
