All teachings and educational materials presented on this website are based on the teachings of His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.

3. Restrictions & Prohibited Activities

Unauthorized Reproduction & Recording

Unauthorized copying, redistribution, recording, resale, screen recording, sharing of login credentials, or reproduction of any course material, video, book, or publication without permission is strictly prohibited.

Suspension & Revocation of Access

Course access may be suspended or revoked in cases of misuse, piracy, inappropriate behavior, or violation of website policies.

Respectful & Devotional Conduct

Users are expected to maintain respectful and devotional conduct in classes, discussion groups, comments, and community interactions associated with the platform.

Interference & Hacking

Users agree not to misuse, attempt unauthorized access, damage, hack, or interfere with the functioning or security of the platform.

4. Payments & Program Modifications

Non-Refundable Policy

Payment made for digital courses, downloadable materials, online classes, or self-paced programs is generally non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.

Right to Modify Programs

The institute reserves the right to modify course structure, schedules, teachers, pricing, website content, or learning materials whenever necessary.

6. Shipping & Delivery Policy

Applies to physical books and other physical products ordered through www.paratattva.in. Does not apply to online course access or purely digital products.

Order Processing & Delivery Timeline

Orders are processed after successful payment and verification. Delivery is expected within 5 days inside Dhaka and within 15 days outside Dhaka, after dispatch. Processing and delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, weekends, holidays, special events, pre-orders, order volume, and courier conditions; these timelines are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.

Shipping Charges

Applicable shipping and handling charges, if any, will be displayed or communicated before completion of the order. Charges may depend on destination, parcel weight, order value, delivery method, and courier availability.

Delivery Areas & Timeframes

We may ship to serviceable locations in India and, where offered, to international destinations. Availability of international delivery depends on postal/courier serviceability, customs restrictions, and the products ordered. Delivery time begins after dispatch and varies by destination and courier. Delays may occur due to weather, transport disruption, holidays, customs, remote locations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Tracking information will be provided where available.

Correct Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, address, postal code, mobile number, and other delivery information. Please contact us immediately if a correction is required. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after dispatch. If delivery fails due to an incorrect/incomplete address, refusal, or repeated unavailability, the parcel may be returned to us and reshipment may require additional shipping charges.

Damaged, Incorrect & Lost Shipments

Please inspect the parcel after delivery. If an item is materially damaged in transit, defective, missing, or different from what was ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 days with order details and clear photographs/video of the parcel, packaging, and item. If tracking indicates an unusual delay or a parcel appears lost, contact us and we will coordinate with the courier. Replacement or refund decisions will be made after reasonable verification.

International Orders, Customs & Duties

For international shipments, the recipient may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, local fees, or clearance requirements imposed by the destination country unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Customs processing may cause additional delays. Customers should ensure that the ordered products can lawfully be imported into the destination country.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Different cancellation and refund rules apply to recorded/self-paced courses, live courses, and physical books/products. Please review carefully before purchasing.

Recorded / Self-Paced Courses

Fees paid for recorded or self-paced courses are non-refundable once enrollment has been completed and course access has been provided. Students are requested to review the course description, eligibility requirements, language, duration, assessment system, and certification requirements carefully before enrolling. A student's decision not to begin, continue, or complete a course, lack of available time, change of personal circumstances, or expiry of the course-access period does not entitle the student to a refund. This is subject to any refund or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Live Courses

A student who voluntarily withdraws from or chooses not to attend a live course is not ordinarily entitled to a refund. If Paratattva cancels a paid live course and the course is not conducted, the affected student will be eligible for an appropriate refund or may be offered another suitable option with their agreement. Reasonable changes to class dates, timings, facilitators, or platforms do not by themselves constitute cancellation of a course. Where a substantial change makes participation impracticable, Paratattva may consider an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances and applicable law.

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a student or customer is charged more than once for the same transaction, or an incorrect amount is successfully collected due to a verified technical or payment-processing error, the excess or erroneous payment will be refunded after verification.

Physical Books – Cancellation & Returns

A physical-book order may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us promptly. If cancellation is possible before handover to the courier, the applicable refund will be processed. Once dispatched, returns are handled under the return/replacement provisions. If you receive a materially damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us preferably within 7 days with order details and clear photographs/video. After verification, we may arrange a replacement, reshipment, or refund. Unless expressly stated on the product page, books are generally not returnable for change of mind after delivery.

Refund Processing & Non-Refundable Amounts

Approved refunds will normally be initiated to the original payment method or another mutually agreed lawful method. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to credit the amount after we initiate the refund. To the extent permitted by law, payment-gateway charges, shipping charges already incurred, and certification or administrative charges already incurred may be excluded from a refund.
